First Tooth

Eleanor has her first tooth. She is chewing on anything and everything. That little sucker is sharp too! I attached a photo, if you look to the right bottom side you can see a tiny white spot...yep that is it! Mom and Dad are so proud of our big girl!

It's BLACK FRIDAY!

Ok, Eleanor just realized what "Black Friday" really means in the shopping world. It looks like she just saw a ghost.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Dustin and I realized how much we have to be thankful for. We have a wonderful family and a great group of friends. During this hard time in our economy, we had to just sit back and look at all our wonderful gifts. A BIG thank you to Chuck and Scarlett for a terrific Thanksgiving dinner. It was great to see your lovely home in Albany.

So, today being "Black Friday" and all, my mom, my sister and I decided to brave the shopping horror. My sister was the unlucky one this year, usually it is me, but I had to pass the torch. She was a victim of a "shove" by an aggressive shopper. I am the mean one and usually say something rude to that person. My sister was a nice person and just stayed quiet. We found some great bargains and had a whole lot of fun watching people freak out over really dumb things.

So, Thanksgiving is over...time to start decorating for Christmas right? Or if you are like my friend Megan, you are already done. She has always been an over achiever (love you Megs).

MMMMmmmm Squash

Eleanor loved her bananas, she is not quite as excited about squash. I noticed more of it gets all over her face. We are going to Albany for Thanksgiving to spend time with Dustin's family. I am thinking we need to give Eleanor her first taste of mashed potatoes and gravy. She still falls asleep in the car so I am sure it will be a nice ride to Albany.

Eating food

Eleanor is now eating mashed food. We started off giving her bananas and she loves them. A BIG thank you to Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Bobbie for the awesome high chair, Eleanor loves it! She still gets her regualr bottles everyday, now we are just giving her mashed food on top of it. I think we are going to try squash next. Our BIG girl is growing up so fast.

Trying to make my little Princess a Tomboy

Today I tried the Team Yamaha jersey on Eleanor that Jeff and Megan got for Eleanor. It is still a little big, hopefully it will still fit when riding season starts.

Off to the doctors....

So, Eleanor, Noni and I went to the doctor last night at 6:40pm for our 4 month check up. Dr. Lace said she looks very healthy and chubby. He has given us the go ahead for some rice cereal and other "real" foods. I am very excited to go shopping with Daddy for some mashed bananas and apples....MMMMmmmmm! She weighs 15 lbs 1.3 ounces now. Quite the chub I must say! Cuter the chubbier right?

Red beautiful curls

Eleanor received a new "do" from "Le Dollar Tree". Ok, so she actually was wearing a wig we found after Halloween at the Dollar Tree. I think she would make a beautiful red head. Too bad Mommy and Daddy have dark brown hair and there is no chance of such beautiful red curls. I guess she could get curly hair from Aunt Emma, Emma's hair isn't very red anymore. Eleanor was being a very good sport by letting Noni, Aunt Emma, and I dress her all up.
