Eleanor is 15 months...

Not quite sure why she was trying to pinch my nose. We were at the coast this day with Dustin's Dad, Kiernan, Kadence and Dustin of course. Wonderful weather and lots of fun.
We are sad.

Stroller....weight limit?

So, Noni (my Mom) bought Eleanor this really cute baby with a stroller, car seat, diaper bag, and a crib thing for Christmas last year. She has just recently started to take an interest in holding her baby and playing with the set of baby stuff. Tonight I was putting clothes away in her room, and she came in there to play. I turned around and totally caught her sitting and then standing in the stroller. I swear the stroller was gasping for air. This poor stroller was trying to support her and it was about to break. She proceeded to laugh when I asked what she was doing. Our little angel......yeah right :)

Mom's Big Mistake!

Ok, so today I made a huge error. Eleanor has been using plastic bowls lately. I am teaching her how to keep the food in the bowl until she would like to eat some. She has been doing such a great job in her high chair that today I decided to give her some dried fruit pieces in our living room. WHAT WAS I THINKING????? First chance she got, she dumped them all over the floor. Then she proceeded to step on them....yes, mashing them into our carpet. This was a big error on my part. Never again!

The last picture shows a piece of dried strawberry stuck to her chin...look closely.

Out in the front yard with the dogs

Eleanor is walking all over now. It is hard for me to think of when she couldnt walk. She has just learned how to walk down hill. Most of us dont think about how gravity fights your body when you walk down hill, but watching Eleanor reminded me. She is SO independent. She doesnt like to be held by anyone including Mom and Dad. She wants to do everything herself. She now says: no, thank you, please, tickle tickel, Dada, Pop, bah bah (means Momma). Temper tantrums are daily now. She is only 13 months and the terrible two's have started, my Mom and Dad remind me daily that she is just like me. Oh great, boy am I in for it.

Exercise is for the birds...

Ok, so I thought it would be a wonderful idea to go for a walk with Eleanor yesterday. The weather in Salem has been so nice and warm, I waited for the sun to start to go down (too cool off a bit) and we packed up and headed out for our walk. Just as I shut the garage, I felt a rain drop. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? It has not rained for like 24 days according to the news and when I decide to go enjoy the outdoors with my daughter it rains???? I did not want to give up so Ele and I kept walking. Yes, it started to pour.....NO MORE WALKS! Here is pictures of Eleanor all wet, poor girl.

First peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Now that Eleanor is 1, she was given the OK by her pediatrician to have kind of food she would like. I gave her her first PB&J and she loved it. I am so happy she is not allergic to peanuts.

Gettin BIG!

Cannot believe she is almost 13 months....Her teeth look big and she is not our baby anymore, she is our BIG girl!
