Camping in the trailer, Champoeg Park

Camping with our trailer, we purchased used a couple of months ago. We have been dying to get out and give it a first time try out! The maiden voyage was great even though it rained the whole time. Eleanor had fun camping.

First professional hair cut!

Eleanor was in desperate need of a hair cut. We have not cut any length off of her hair until today. She was very good and was actually excited about the whole thing. Dad stayed at home because he was in mourning over cutting our daughters hair. Eleanor is such a big girl!

Scary snow trip to Utah!

Yes! There is a place in Utah called Snowville....now I know why!

We decided to go see Grandma and Grandpa Gibbins in Utah the day after Christmas. The trip over was so great and the time we spent there was so fun! The way home was a bit eventful with unpredictable weather conditions. We are lucky we left Salt Lake when we did because shortly after we left they got over a foot of snow. Dustin drove slow and we made it home safely.

So today Dustin and I spent the day moving the crib out of Eleanor's room and putting up her new "big girl" bed. The bed is very special to me because my Dad made it for me when I was a little girl. She was so excited to play on the new bed. Believe it or not, when we put her to bed tonight, she fell right asleep and didn't get out of bed once. I have no idea if this was good luck or we just have an amazing child! :)
